Held each year from May through until September, Bike Chicago is a five-month programme of cycle-friendly events aimed at promoting cycling in the city. Well over 100 events make up the programme that promotes the health, economic and environmental benefits of cycling. Some of the biggest events of the programme are “Bike the Drive”, the “Bike to Work Rally”, the “Late Ride” and the “Boulevard Lakefront Tour”. Other events cover the practical aspects of cycling, such as bike maintenance, cycle safety and a bike and cycling equipment sale
