Stern Grove Festival in San Francisco

Venue: Sigmund Stern Grove. Sigmund Stern Grove is at 19th Avenue and Sloat Boulevard in San Francisco's Sunset/Parkside District

Each Sunday afternoon throughout the summer, locals and visitors alike are invited to Sigmund Stern Grove to enjoy a programme of free musical performances and other theatrical shows. Entertainment ranges from old school rhythm and blues to hip hop and rap acts. Past performers have included Ladysmith Black Mambazo, The Funk Brothers and the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra. The park, with its natural amphitheatre, is a great venue for such an event which has taken place here every year since 1938
