A Tier One event on the Sony Ericsson WTA tour, the Acura Classic is a ladies’ tennis tournament which is part of the US Open series. The tournament includes qualifying singles, main draw singles and main draw doubles. The prestigious event attracts the very best female players in the world with past winners including such names as Mary Pierce, Lindsay Davenport, Justine Henin, Venus Williams and Martina Hingis. If past tournaments are anything to go by, spectators are guaranteed to see some exciting tennis action
