Venue: Various venues across Regina. Various cultural "Pavilions"
Regina's culturally diverse population includes Scottish, Ukrainian, Polish, Hungarian, Irish and Afro-Caribbean roots, among many others. Approximately 45,000 people belong to over 60 separate associations under the umbrella of the Multicultural Council. To develop and promote the cultures and folk arts of all these ethno cultural groups, the Council helps organise Mosaic: “A Festival of Cultures”. Held every year since 1974, Mosaic has grown into a three-day event held at "pavilions" throughout the city, each one featuring traditional foods, displays of arts and crafts and entertainment by musicians and dancers, often in traditional costume. In the months leading up to Mosaic, various fund raising concerts and gala events are held by the different associations
