Where? Willow Island at the Alliant Energy Center

Why should you go? Because this event is soooo Wisconsin. And...the Madison Marathon will finish up here. After all that healthy running, of course a real Wisconsinite is going to celebrate by downing brats and beer!
And the prices! OMG! You can get a brat for just $1.50 A hot dog for a buck. And for those of you vegetarians out there, you can dive into a Boca Brat for just a buck-fifty. Drinks? Mmm, well, maybe not quite so cheap. But it's still a pretty inexpensive outing. Or meal. And there's guaranteed to be a ton of people there. It's the thing to do on a Memorial weekend in Madison.
You might even get served by one of Madison's local celebrities --- perhaps a politician, a news anchor, radio personality, or a police or fire department head.
There will even be live musical entertainment, free and open to the public.
