Cascadia is a lovely Belltown restaurant that opened up in 1999. It has remained a popular dining destination ever since, thanks to its good location and wonderful cuisine. Cascadia also has a relaxed, subdued atmosphere that many find attractive.
The dinner menu is on the expensive side for humble folks like myself. But I enjoy the happy hour selections at very reasonable prices. Cascadia is well-known for their mini burgers made of ...

The current inhabitant of this formerly jinxed space on 15th in Capitol Hill can only be described as British hunting lodge meets the Addams Family. Amidst the taxidermy wall on one side and the creepy painted portraits on the other you'll find the typical Linda's Tavern sort of crowd (yes, Linda owns Smith as well) sitting at dark tables and munching on satisfying, better than average bar food. Expect your ...

A perfect day to be at Via Tribunali, would be the kind where the windows of the restaurant are thrown wide open, and the breeze is blowing in. But regardless of the weather, I'm certain the food is always good. We sat in the front, enjoying glasses of chianti and barbera. Via Tribunali is best known for its Italian-style pizza, thin crusted and hot out of the oven. We had ...

The District Lounge has an unassuming entrance which masks an excellent music venue. It has a warm decor done in deep reds, with jazz influenced paintings on the wall. It feels like a very swanky study or sitting room. There are benches with tall backs and groups of comfortable chairs, set up to inspire intimate conversation.
There is a good variety of cocktails with sexy names or a selection of wines ...

The Black Bottle is the perfect place to go with a date. It has candlelight, dark corners, ambiance. Not to mention the food that is easily shared by two, with a nice glass of wine or micro brew. It is also the kind of place to go with a few close friends. There is a variety of seating for any occasion: tables in a more private back room, bar seating, ...

My favorite place to sit at Kirkland's hot spot, is at the bar. It is intimate, and easy to get good information on wines from the knowledgeable wait staff. The Purple Cafe, the East side installment of its city cousin, (also in Woodinville), has a large and varied selection of excellent wines. The dinners there are delicious, but I confess to being partial to the appetizers. I love the bacon ...

Beautiful weather makes any place seem that much better. I enjoyed spending my sunny happy hour near the open window of Del Rey in Belltown. They have tasty appetizers in good-sized portions, quick and friendly service as well. I had the Baja Fish Tacos (very good) and my friend had the chicken tacos. Her only complaint was that hers was a little too spicy. I love spicy food, so it ...
