Space Needle and Seattle Photo Gallery
As a native for 56 years in Washington State, I finally moved to Seattle last summer. While waiting for construction to be completed, I had to find interim housing for about six weeks. Through Craigslist, Seattle, Short Term Housing we were able to rent a beautiful apartment on the north shore of Lake Union. Uh, just under the massive I-5 bridge, above the "human freeway" Burke-Gilman Trail, with sea planes buzzing over head too. I was fascinated with this view and took several pictures: If the Needle is the City's Centerpiece, The International Fountain, the soul then the city and region is a feast.
