Yeah, taking the water taxi was on Summer of 2005 "What to Do" list and I put it on my 2007 list again (April 24, 2007 http://www.hotelsbycity.net/blog/usa_washington_seattle/attractions/take-the-water-taxi-to-west-seattle/#more-333).

On April 22, 2007 I posted a tip about the Washington Ferries (http://www.hotelsbycity.net/blog/usa_washington_seattle/attractions/cross-the-water-from-pier-52-in-seattle/#more-329).

And again I'd like to hail the 30 minutes ferry ride to Bainbridge Island (1+ hour for return trip) and the 60 minutes (2+ hour for return trip) to Bremerton (watch or tour the Navy Ships) as The Bargain Mini Cruise.

The fare to either Bainbridge or Bremerton is very reasonable considering they are RETURN FARES.
$6.70 for general, $3.35 for seniors $5.40 for children age 6-18 (Blogman9, Henry would go for FREE!)

Oh, me, oh my, the above comment should have landed after Blogman9's message about the Seattle Water Taxi posted on August 14!
