Soliciting Readers' DC Favorites
For this blog posting, I'm not going to tell you about any of DC's gems or goings-on. Instead, I'd like you to send me your favorite things to do and see in the Washington area, places to visit, eat, shop and sleep here, as well as any other local gems you've discovered in your peripatetic forays into our nation's capital. I call this approach "Interactive Blogging."
This call for input is motivated not only by a grand fatigue of hearing my own voice and a desire to read other DC-lovers' take on the city, but also from an overwhelming curiosity to find out if anyone actually reads this thing.
So send me your stories, photos, suggestions, "Best Of"s (or "Worst Of"s) and the like, for use in future blog postings from this DC blogger. Or just send me your assurances that you're reading my blog, even if you have no ideas for other readers.
