We had a resesrvation at 8:30 for which ...

I LOVE chinese, but sadly, I HATE bad chinese food, so I'm always on the lookout for a great Chinese place. Some of the best have even been buffets, I love mongolian grill / buffets. Alas, so far in my search I havn't found a really good one of those, in Salt Lake, yet.
I have found probably the best, most delicious chinese food in the valley though. This place receives ...

One of the best family-friendly outings in Salt Lake is to Nickelmania, located at 6051 South State Street. While it's one of many nickel arcades in the valley, it stands out for its working games, cleanliness, and especially its helpful, attentive staff. We love them!
Here's how it works: you pay a modest $2.25 entry fee, then all the games range from one to five ...

Why go: The actors are amazing. This won't be the fanciest production you'll see, but the actors are, for the most part, very, strong ...

Located on 122 West Pierpont Avenue, Café Pierpont is fiery and delicious. Their massive margaritas brought tears of joy to my eyes. You can also order a burrito the size of your head and eat for a week! Seriously, this burrito feeds two for a very affordable price. The salsa bar is a spicy slice of heaven. So stop in for some delicious Mexican food in the heart of downtown.

I just got up to a beautiful fresh snowfall. Go. Ski. Now. Ditch your seminar, cut class, leave work early....you get the idea. The storm should be over by afternoon, with more hopefully coming in tomorrow, as well. If you drive, remember to slow down, especially in Parley's Canyon. Go here to find out current Salt Lake/Park City driving conditions. The ski bus ...

The week after the Sundance Film Festival always feels a little like the day after Christmas. You look at the back of the departing glittery crowds and ask: “Is that all?” It doesn’t help that we’re having one of our nastiest inversions ever. Sigh.
What to do during a Salt Lake City inversion:
First, stay inside, if at all possible. This is the dirtiest our air has ever been. Sorry, ...
