Tejano Conjunto Festival 2009
With Fiesta winding down the month of April in the Alamo City, here comes another festive event for you to enjoy if you happen to be here in the early part of May. May 5th to the 9th 2009 to be exact.
For this is when the Tejano Conjunto Festival will take place at the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center and Rosedale Park. Come and enjoy the delightful sounds of: El Pavo Grande Salvador Garcia, Eddie ‘Lalo’ Torres y Anita Paiz y Su Conjunto, May 5th at the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Seniors get free admission for this event.
On May 6th 2009, you can attend the Best Of Tejano Conjunto CD Release Party at the Guadelupe Theatre. This is free to the public and begins at: 7:00 PM and ends at: 9:00 PM. On May 7th and at $12 per person, you can enjoy a series of musical entertainment at Rosedale Park. This begins at: 5:30 PM.
And on May 8th and 9th, you can enjoy more musical entertainment at Rosedale Park. On May 8th, the festivities begin at: 7 PM and on May 9th the fun begins at: 2 PM And with all this fine music around, you are sure to have some fun! And you can go here for more info: :
