Alamo Re-enactment Events For March 2009
This is for the history fans who will thoroughly enjoy this event. What is it? It’s five Remembrances of the Alamo re-enactments events that are free to the public. All taking place in the month of March.
And beginning on March 2nd 2009 at 12:00 PM there is the Texas Independence Day Celebration. It takes place in front of the Alamo Shrine.
On March 6th 2009, there is a re-enactment of ‘Dawn At The Alamo.’ This begins at 6:00 AM and ends at 7:00 AM. And this particular ceremony, which is also free to the public, commemorates fighters on both sides who lost their lives at the Battle Of The Alamo.
On March 7th 2009, there is the Annual Memorial Ceremony and Wreath Laying and it takes place at 10:00 AM at the Alamo Shrine. On March 17th and 18th are two more free to the public events. On March 17th 2009 at 12:00 noon there is the Annual Ceremony that takes place in front of the Alamo Shrine. And on March 18th 2009, there is the Goliad Day Ceremony that begins at 10:00 AM inside the Alamo Shrine. Come on and have a great time remembering what happened at the Alamo.
