The 2009 Annual Cowboy Breakfast

If you have never attended one of San Antonio’s lead up to the annual Rodeo events, The Cowboy Breakfast, you can do so if you happen to be in the Alamo City. But it starts early.

Come January 30th 2009, show up in the Rim parking lot for free breakfast and coffee. The event kicks off at 5:00 AM and will end at 9:00 AM, so you got to get there a bit early.

Come join other Rodeo fans and San Antonians as they sink their tastebuds into some: Biscuits and Gravy, Barbacoa, Tamales, Breakfast Tacos and yes, the coffee.

Lots of people will be there, and it might be a bit on the cold side, so you might want to bring along a sweater or jacket for good measure. For more info on upcoming events, you can also go to: :

The Cowboy Breakfast has grown to be one of the most popular and one of the largest rodeo events found anywhere. I look forward to this event so much each year, I even take the morning off from work and brave the freezing cold for those biscuits & gravy!

Cowboy-up San Antonio! Let's Rodeo!

Man, why did they make it that far? You would think that it would be somewhere central of San Antonio, so that everyone could attend. Also I would love to go but all the way in La Cantera. Not to mention that I would have to get caught in traffic on I 10 after its all over. Well I guess UTSA and the rich folks will have something to eat now.

I look foward to the cowboy breakfast every year. My and my girl just love to wake up early and mingle with all the southern hospitality. There is not one place up north that will do this for anyone, and here is texas, its a tradition. I love how it brings a bunch of texans together so we can all eat some grub and have a good time. There is no place i rather live than TEXAS !!!

Pedro get over it....It's so easy to get around San Antonio, and traffic is everywhere! Rich or Poor it dosen't matter the breakfast is for everyone. Oh but I forgot if your so called rich or attending UTSA you more than likely won't be able to make it.....Why......because they are to busy working to make the money or get an education, that they'll be paying off for years after graduating. Something to think about!
