Come Celebrate Dia De Los Muertos 2008 San Antonio Style!
It’s that time of the year again. The time when we pay respect to our deceased loved ones. And if you happen to be in the Alamo City this coming weekend, come celebrate the Dia De Los Muertos (Day Of The Dead) in true San Antonio style.
Come enjoy various pieces of art at places such as: The San Antonio Museum Of Art, Museo Alameda, The Institute Of Texan Cultures, Southwest School of Art and Craft and not forgetting the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park.
The day’s festivities will begin with a procession at Hemisfair Park. In addition, a Guadelupe Cultural Arts Center dance troupe will do Mexican dances, and there will also be a Day Of The Dead Buffet at the Mexican Cultural Institute on Plaza Mexico.
And as the day progresses, there will be Day Of The Dead souvenirs and folk art for those who wish to take home reminders of this special day. So come on, bring the family and have some fun this Dia De Los Muertos 2008 in San Antonio. For more info, you can also go to: www.VisitSanAntonio.com
