The Wild Animal Orphanage
So you have probably already been to the zoo and the Natural Wild Life Safari and if the pet/animal lover in you wishes to see more wild life the next time you are in San Antonio, check out the Wild Animal Orphanage.
What it is, is a sort of haven for about one hundred and fifty different animals. And although it is opened only on Fridays and Sundays from 10:00 AM until 4:30 PM, you can arrange to have tours of the orphanage during the week by setting an appointment.
There is a gift shop at the facility in case you want to get some souvenirs and admission for adults is $10, $5 for kids age two to eleven, and there is no charge for kids under the age of two.
So come on, bring the family, and be prepared to have a good time, especially if you are an avid animal lover.
