US Air Force turns sixty this year
Given the few scattered bases that are in and around the Alamo city, San Antonio is no doubt also known as military city USA. And as the US Air Force celebrates sixty years this year of being a separate part of the US Armed Services, a celebration to commemorate the occasion is being held at the UTSA’s Institute of Texan Cultures.
The celebration began back on August 6 2007 and will run through September 30 2007. And to further celebrate this occasion, there will be artworks indicative of the history of the US Air Force on display.
So come and enjoy this wonderful exhibit of one of the branches of the US Armed Services that protects the US.
Days and times for the exhibit are: Tuesday to Saturday- 10 AM to 6 PM and Sunday 12 PM to 6 PM.
