Jazz Festival At Crossroads Mall

If you have a soft spot in your musical taste for Jazz and you are in town or will be here between now and August 10th, then you have to check out the Jazz Festival that’s going on at Crossroads Mall, in the Balcones Heights district.

Aptly named the Balcones Heights Jazz Festival, it is being held in the Crossroads Mall Amphitheatre and is free and open to the public.

Also, an array of edibles and beverages will be on hand for purchase at the event. So come on if you are a Jazz enthusiast.

This event is on Friday evenings only until August 10th from seven PM until ten PM. So the next evening of activity will be this coming Friday, August 3rd 2007. So come on and enjoy. No outside refreshments are allowed.

Hi Charlotte,

The San Antonio Summer Art Jazz Festival is over for this year, but it is held annually during the first weekend of June.

However, The Balcones Heights Jazz Festival at Crossroads Mall will begin on July 11th 2008 and run through every Friday night after that until August 8th 2008. The shows begin at 7:00 PM.

Check the Weekender section of the San Antonio Express and News. Flip a few pages to the music scene-like-sorta-kinda and look for the Jazz section.

The performers at the August 8th 2008 Balcones Heights Annual Jazz Festival were: Fingerprints and Nils.

It was Carmen Twillie who sang for the Lion King movie.
