Get "A" Skydiving License in a Week
Want to learn how to skydive? Skydive Spaceland (16111 FM 521, Rosharon TX) is the place to go! Located about 30 miles south of Houston, the facility is offering a new program: get your skydiving license in a week!
The week-long program includes 18 Skydiver Training Program jumps with highly experienced instructors & five solo skydives with gear rental. The cost is substantial at $2,007 (for a package like this it's Regularly priced at nearly $3,000). If I had the money at my feet, I'd jump on this in a heartbeat. The only prerequisite is two tandem skydives (jumps with an instructor on your back). I've bungee jumped, does that count?
Anyway, once you've completed the program, you'll have 20-plus jumps & will have completed all requirements to get your United States Parachute Association "A" license. With this license you can make solo skydives at any drop zone without supervision.
