Hard Rock's Last Two Weeks
As most have probably heard, but hasn't been mentioned here yet, the Dallas Hard Rock Cafe is closing its doors March 4.
I don't know why they're closing. The Hard Rock's PR people are keeping a tight lid on things, only saying that a new Dallas location will open at a later date.
So if you're planning a trip to Dallas, make sure to swing by the Hard Rock, located in Uptown. The place is truly unique, housed in an early 1900's Baptist church. Every Tuesday is Elvis night and the atmosphere never disappoints.
I've only had dinner there a few times and listened to some house bands, so I'll regret never seeing a great show there. Too bad for Uptown; the Hard Rock was one of the area's only true landmarks.
