Pete's Piano Bar is always a good time!
As an old year closes and a new year begins, it seems only right to review one of my favorite places to hang out in downtown Austin. Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar. I have never been to Pete’s and said to myself after words…..”You know I didn’t have a good time.
This great concept is not only located in Austin but conveniently in other towns throughout Texas. I would suggest visiting the Austin location merely because I know they do not disappoint the crowd. The intimate setting lets patrons feel like they are part of the action at all times. Oh and the best part is that if you want to hear a song…..just pick up your beverage napkin and request it. In my experience if you throw a few dollars down with your request, it is played faster.
Weekends at Pete’s are filled with Birthday’s, Bachelorette party’s, Holiday get togethers and other social events were people of all ages sing to one another as loudly as possible. To me this is the best part of the evening.
I must also add that the staff at Pete’s has to be one of the most attentive and fun staff I have found in Austin. Everyone seems to have a good time and as someone who has found themselves in a few Bar’s . . . that is important.
My suggestion is that you get down to Pete’s next time you are in town. I can guarantee that you will find nothing that compares to it in Texas!!!!
