Arlington: What's new?
Six Flags News:
Six Flags has signed deals with both the Australian sensation The Wiggles and with Nintendo's Wii division. It is to help attract families with younger kids to the park.
Executive Mark Shapiro said the Texas park will be receiving long over due maintenance in the off-season. He also does not see any problems w/the new Cowboy stadium coming soon..."we'll figure out a way to make it work so that our business isn't interrupted. We're very much supporters of the expansion and the economic growth of this area because at the end of the day, it's going to mean more and more business to Six Flags.
Six Flags will open soon for the 07-08 seasons with the weeklong Spring Break holiday beginning March 10-18. Hours will be from 10am to 8pm and cost $34.99 for children 48" and under, $47.00 General addition (+ tax) or $42.00 (+ tax) online.
New this year will be CIRQUE DREAMS Coobrila that will be shown for 65 straight days. It is a "whimsical journey" that will show Texas History in it's own way. They will have their normal concert season, the NCA Cheerleading competition, K'nex education physics challenge, Math & Science day, Texas History day, and a special TAKS Appreciation Day in May.
