Museum exhibits local WW ll memorabilia
The memoirs of Arlington residents who served in World War II are on exhibit at the Fielder House Museum. Arlington area Veterans and family members donated items such as music of the 40's era, pictures, documents, letters, even uniforms worn by the soldiers. The museum has also set aside a room called the Gold Star room. It's been dedicated to 45 citizens from Arlington that were killed during the war.
"Come celebrate the contributions that Arlington residents made to the World War II effort at the exhibit "Faces of Arlington – World War II." The Arlington Historical Society will present the display through Feb. 4. "
