BlueFish is Second to None for Seafood in Memphis
Looking for seafood in Memphis then there is really only one option, Blue Fish located at Cooper and Young in Midtown Memphis. Great atmosphere, great wait staff, and most importantly fantastic food make Blue Fish the best in Memphis. I like most seafood lovers don't like to eat seafood away from...well...the sea. The menu is set up like no other place. While it offers regular items that never leave, the menu works like this. You choose a fish from whatever they have fresh that night and then you choose a preparation from the menu. I personally recommend the fish be herb encrusted with lump gerrymander and a great sauce that makes the dish pop. My dates and friends have all enjoyed their fish prepared Caribbean style with the right fish. If unsure ask your waiter, he or she probably will know the answer. Blue Fish also offers a great wine list and most importantly a great atmosphere. It is never too loud and has plenty of tables but feels very quaint. If you just want oysters, then sit at the raw bar. As the Highlander said, there can be only one and Blue Fish is the one for the Bluff City.
