Local Coffee Fun
It's easy to go any place these days and have a Starbucks, but why not try something different? Pittsburgh has great local coffee shops in each of its neighborhoods.
Starting on the Southside check out BigDog on Sarah Street. They had great oatmeal for breakfast, a nice soup for lunch and original hand made hohos for any time. And if you are further down on Carson don't miss the original BeeHive directly catty-corner from Starbucks.

In Highland Park, be sure to have a latte at Tazza D’Oro and on your way back to town stop at the other end of Highland Ave at Oh Yeah! for some made-to-order swirl ice cream and waffles with your expresso!
In Garfield check out the retro Quiet Storm.
On the North Side join the community at the Beleza Community Coffeehouse where there is always something entertaining along with great food and coffee.
And for those in the south try coffee Italian style at Aldo Caffe
If you want coffee with your art try Make your Mark in Point Breeze.
And finally, the original local coffee company located in the strip: La Prima.
