Art After 5 At The Philadelphia Museum Of Art
The Philadelphia Art Museum has a new event on Friday nights: Art After 5. The Great Stair Hall becomes a concert area complete with table service, cocktails, lovely appetizers and desserts. An "eclectic mix" of international music can be heard here on the first Friday of each month, and is free after museum admission. The concert starts at 5:00pm and ends at 8:45pm. The Museum Restaurant is also open until 7:00pm, and reservations are recommended.
On this coming Friday, the 6th, an Eastern European music band called Ljova will be performing. From "Gypsy-inspired melodies and Latin rhythms" to "jazzy improvisations", coming to hear this band is a great way to begin your weekend. Go to www.philamuseum.org for more information.
