The Moon and Sixpence Pub
Just listening to drunken Brits singing folk songs at this Hollywood District Pub is enough entertainment for the evening. (Ok, not all the Brits are singing but most of them are drunk). Make sure you have a plate of fish and chips, bangers and mash, or fish cakes because the pints here are gigantic imperial pints (20 ounces) and just two can send you reeling off the bar stools.
The Moon, as locals call it, is a great place to chat up a friendly Portlander especially at the bar. If you're in town by yourself or just want to make new friends you won't have any problem finding someone to talk to here.
