Welcome to Tulsa!
Tulsa is defrosting and we're getting out and about! There's still some slush on the streets reminding us it's cold outside, so it's time for some Wintertime activities. Let's get to it! After all, you wouldn't be reading this if you weren't anxious to know what Tulsa has to offer.
Why not warm up in one of Tulsa's finest coffee shops. Nordaggio's on the Riverwalk is one of my favorite places to snag a cup of joe. The quaint little shop is warm, toasty, and brimming with fun people and pretty art. The paintings that hang on the walls at Nordaggio's are actually painted with coffee! They are fun reproductions of classics like the Lord's Supper, only they're all drinking coffee. It overlooks the Arkansas River, which is beautifully icy and white at the moment. Nordaggio's is also conveniently located in Tulsa's Riverwalk, near many restaurants and tons of shopping. Their website will be up and running soon. You can visit it at www.nordaggios.com.
Then head over to the Convention Center downtown for a Tulsa Oilers home game against the OKC Blazers. You can purchase tickets here. The Tulsa Oilers are group of Tulsa's toughest guys picking fights on a solid sheet of ice. Oh, yeah, they play a little hockey, also! Don't miss them - they're a blast to watch!
Keep your eyes on this blog for new postings on Tulsa's nightlife, hotels, restaurants, and weddings. I look forward to sharing my town with you!
