Well - even if the weather is cold - the Wildlights at the Zoo is worth braving the elements. The Zoo goes all out every year - to decorate the entire Zoo grounds with lots of lights. There is a decidedly holiday theme in the air - carolers abound, seasonal music, lots of holiday and animal scenes in lights. We checked out the preview night tonight and it was wonderful ...

As promised another entry in the what to do in Columbus when it is cool, cloudy, rainy and so forth.
For kids of all ages there are two great indoor game and restuarant venues.
Gameworks is inside Easton. It features dinning and games for kids of all ages. The nice feature of Gameworks being at Easton is it is great for families. If some people want to shop and other ...

cool, dreary and rainy. Sadly that often describes Columbus in the late fall and winter months. Sometimes we do get a near perfect, crisp day with bright sunshine - a winter day that is perfect for a brisk walk or checking out the sites. Cool enough to make walking and enjoying the outdoors doable - and cool enough to justify a stop by Starbucks for a perfect cup of ...

Then you must consider Jason's in Dublin, Ohio. The menu is impressive and certainly has something everyone will enjoy. Sure there are plenty of chain restaurants, which have diverse menus - but Jason's isĀ a locally owned and operated restaurant with class and style.
The service was exceptional and where else can you find, Asian specialties, Italian favorites, steaks done right and an impressive wine and cocktail list? Could it get ...

I separated these entries - becasue Spagio Cellar - while sharing the same geographic location is a destination in and of itself. In my opinion they have one of the best selections of wine in town and a staff of very knowledgable people to help you select and enjoy something absolutely to your liking.
They host regular tastings and the wine by the glass menu changed monthly. They also ...

Last night we went to a treasured favorite. Spagio. I think one of the nicest and most predicable places in Columbus. (Grandview actually.)
Chef Hubert not only provides you with wonderful dishes - with a traditional bend - but blended with a modern twice. They feature wood fired pizza, amazing pasta dished, traditional favorites like meatloaf and pork chops, traditional European fare - like Cod Basque Style or Wiener ...

The BrownStone on Main is a wonderfully done restaurant and lounge. We went on Friday night on the recommendation of a friend and were not disappointed. The Brown Stone on Main is located just east of the City Center Mall on East Main Street. The valet parking is $4. I always suggest using the valet, but if you want to park your car yourself, you can there are a variety ...

With the approaching of fall and winter and the disappearance of the flowers and greenery the Franklin Park Conservatory is the perfect place to recapture the feeling the summer and spring.
The Franklin Park Conservatory is a charming way to spend the afternoon loitering around the different rooms and drinking in the peace and serenity offered by the various rooms. Although it is nothing particularly grand, it is a great place ...
