RWright's Biography

Renee Wright is the Travel Editor for North Carolina Magazine. She also contributes to many other publications both regionally and nationally. Previously she served as the managing editor at Charlotte’s Best Magazine and was on the editorial staff at many other publications including Charlotte Magazine and Charlotte Uptown. In addition to this blog, she has several others that cover other travel destinations as well as websites that cover film festivals and film tourism. Renee has contributed to several books, among them ”The Writer’s Guide to Fantasy” and ”The Insider’s Guide to the New South.” Her ”Great Destinations” guidebook to NC’s Outer Banks and the Crystal Coast will be published by Countryman Press, a division of WW Norton, in 2008.
