Charlotte Juneteenth Festival



The Juneteenth Festival Of The Carolinas will take place this weekend. Juneteenth, for those not in the know, is the oldest national celebration of the ending of slavery in the United States. Originating in Galveston, Texas in 1865, the commemoration of the end of slavery on June 19 has taken root in many communities nationwide.

Charlotte Traffic Quagmire!

What's not to love about Charlotte? -Maybe the traffic. But traffic isn't even that bad if you ask me--although I'm a bit bias having grown up in New York.
