We may be Yankees, but even in Rochester, New York, we still have great barbecue! Dinosaur Bar B Que opened their second restaurant in an old train station located right on the Genesee River in 1998, and even born-and-bred Southerners were delighted.
Dinosaur is open seven days a week and is located right on Court Street in downtown Rochester. The restaurant features perennial favorites like their delicious pulled pork, brisket, and barbecue beans, as well as seasonal tempters like green bean salad and other sides. Monday through Saturday nights feature live music, and catering services are available for those who like to get their Dinosaur even at their parties. Special events and specific nights for favorite bands can be viewed right on their web site, with everything from Blues to Zydeco depending on the night.
Dinosaur Bar B Que serves lunch and dinner, and is open Monday through Thursday from 11 AM to Midnight, Friday and Saturday from 11 AM to 1 AM, and Sundays from Noon to 10 PM.
