Located in Pittsford, New York, approximately 15 minutes from downtown Rochester, Scott Miller Salon and Spa is a little bit of Manhattan in a Western New York town. Don't be fooled by it's plaza location; from the moment you step through the doors, you will feel like you are in the most fashionable salon in NYC.
Offering haircuts, color services and make-up as well as a full-service day spa and store, Scott Miller Salon and Spa is one of a kind. A Bumble and Bumble network salon, full cutting, styling, and coloring services are offered, as well as make-up consultations. The full Bumble and Bumble product line is also sold in the shop, as well as NARS, Stila, Shima, and other upscale products.
Where Scott Miller Salon and Spa truly shines, however, is in the day spa services. Separate from the salon, full manicure and pedicure services are available in one room, with waxing services in another. Step through a set of glass doors, however, and you are in another world altogether. A waiting area has soft instrumental music playing, with complimentary beverages and snacks. One of the staff escorts you to a changing area with luxurious waffle robes and sandals. Once back at the waiting area, you are treated to very reasonably priced spa treatemtents from massage therapy to facials to water therapy and full-body skin treatments. Spa packages are available, including couples packages and a five-hour package that includes a light lunch.
Scott Miller Salon and Spa is open Monday through Thursday until 9 pm, and Friday through Sunday until 5 pm. Appointments are necessary, and during summer months especially, you may need to be put on a waiting list for services such as waxing and manicures/pedicures. Hints
One thing to note is that stylists and aestheticians do recommend products that can be purchased in the store. The prices, however, are usually as good or better than you can find at most online retailers, and most of the staff aren't overly pushy with their recommendations.
Gratuities are handled by the staff at the check-out desk, not the individual staff members. At the desk, you'll find a holder with small envelopes; you place your gratuity in the envelope and address it to your stylist or other consultant. The staff is also very helpful at arranging additional appointments.
Gift cards are available in any amount, and do not expire.
