It seems you can't walk more than a block or two in Manhattan without coming across an Irish bar, but not all are authentic, or good. So how can you find a good place to have a drink (or a few, or a dozen) for the St. Patrick's Day season?
The New York Times comes up with a few that it considers some of the best, but it's a pretty ...

Fans of pastrami and pickles, rejoice... you'll be happy to know that the famed Second Avenue Deli, a Lower East Side institution, has reopened after being closed for nearly a couple of years. Just don't look for it in its former location... or on Second Avenue, for that matter.
The new Second Avenue Deli is retaining the look, name, and menu of its old location, but is located on 33rd Street ...

My father didn't want me to move to Santa Fe. Shortly before I left, we ordered in Italian. As I helped myself to a giant portion of capellini bolognese, he said, "You know, there's no such thing as Italian food in the southwest."
"Dad," I said pedantically. "Somewhere, ...

Chuck Berry is still playing live gigs?! This was a surprise to me, but B.B. King's Blues Club in New York City has him listed as performing on September 14th.
B.B. King's is one of my favorite concert venues in New York. It's located on W. 42nd St. between 8th Ave. and Broadway, right near Times Square and easily accessible by more than a dozen subway lines.
But it's the club itself ...
