2008 Puerto Rican Day Parade to Feature Hot Weather, Hot Music

The Puerto Rican Day Parade is one of New York City's largest parades, and this year's (held on Sunday, June 8th) may be the biggest Puerto Rican Day Parade the City has ever seen.

The parade is expected to draw around two million spectators, although the predicted 95-degree temperatures might convince some folks to stay inside and watch the parade in air-conditioned comfort on TV.

The parade route runs on Fifth Avenue from 44th to 86th streets and starts at 11a.m.

About 100 different musicians are scheduled to perform include Fat Joe, Tito Puente Jr., Kat Deluna, and Wisin & Yandel.
