NYC Five Boro Bike Tour
On Sunday, May 4th the cyclists take Manhattan ... and the other four boroughs as well! Yes, it's time once again for the annual NYC Five Boro Bike Tour, with 30,000 cyclists traveling the streets of all five boroughs of New York City.
The NYC Five Boro Bike Tour is sponsored by Bike New York. Check their route map and interactive guide here to find out where the course goes (if you're participating) or what streets to avoid (if you're doing anything else).
The NYC bike tour (officially the Commerce Bank Five Boro Bike Tour) travels 42 miles through the City. The NYC bike tour is filled up for 2008, so no more cyclists will be able to register. But you can plan ahead for next year's Five Boro Bike Tour, or check out the many other cycling events that Bike New York sponsors during the year.
And of course, you can always watch the bike tour from many vantage points in the City, no matter what borough you happen to be in.
