L.L.N.M (Ladies love nut man)

I was walking towards 14th street and 5th avenue when I smelt it. Sweet and warm with an undertone of love. Could it be? Women crowded around him fighting their way to the caramel coated peanuts (for those with the more refined palette cashews are available too). Now now don't scoff at the almond, a perfectly respectable nut. Falling somewhere between the plebian of nuts, the peanut, the almond provides crunch and flavor, without the overwhelming butter taste of the cashew. My brother's favorite nut. Dollar bills flew from the milky white polished hands of the union square shoppers, to the crusty honey stained paws of the nut man. Yes folks for a dollar you can suckle a nut but only on Union Square. In all of my many travels throughout Manhattan, I have never seen anyone sell nuts anywhere except for on 14th street and 5th Avenue. Seek out ye traveller Nuts for Nuts and the Nut man. He will haunt your dreams and your toilet the next morning.

P.S. Forever 21 is trying to accomodate hipster style. So their clothes aren't as whory as they used to be. Go shopping and buy some nuts!

Toodles

What is the point of this blog? Please explain how is this relevant to anyone's existence? You are filling up hard drives on servers all over the world with this crap that isn't even worth the storage space it takes up despite the ever falling prices of HDs.

Which brings me to my second point! RIGHT NOW, I MEAN RIGHT NOW, get a brand new 500GB HD for just $155 at newegg.com!

I love the Nut Men on the street corners. I didn't know about that particular one,
there are other Nut Men on 50th St and 7th Ave and 66 St and Broadway, also.
All of them delicious and at the right price.
So thanks again for the Cheap But Good Food tip.
Also, the warm edibles in crinkly wax bags are very nostalgic in a good way.

This reminded me of my long gone childhood, I used to look out my window and see the "manicero" come down the street pushing his boat-cart, the caramel aroma lingered at my bedroom window long after he had passed. I will have to check this "nutman" and see if his nuts smell anything like the ones I cannot stop reminiscing about...

I like caramel coated peanuts ("maní confitado", we say) I just have some a few days ago here,....very far away from Manhattan. I will have to check too when I go there. Thanks for telling!

nut man is creepy, but, let me tell you, it all becomes worth it when the nut enters your mouth (and i do mean your mouth, not mine).

you are a genius.
