- Joe the Art of Coffee [9 East 13th Street in Greenwich Village, 141 Waverly Place in the West Village and 130 Greene Street in Soho] - the name says it all, their espresso drinks are artful
- Ninth Street Espresso [700 East 9th Street in Alphabet City and 136 East 13th Street in the East Village] - "No Drip. No Syrup. No Sizes." But darn good.
- FIKA espresso bar [41 West 58th Street (between 5th and 6th Avenue)] - Swedish food, delicious coffee
- Supercore [305 Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn] - well-known for its green tea latte
