Buffalo Plans its Waterfront
As I write this, the story on the news is the development plan for the Buffalo waterfront.
The terminus of the Erie Canal was uncovered, and after some "persuasion" by preservationists, it was restored. There have been plans in the works for YEARS, and finally it looks like we're ready. The Bass Pro sporting goods company has unveiled plans for its Buffalo store (pictured), and it will be an anchor for the waterfront village. Other plans include retail, restaurants, a naval museum, an aquarium and a hotel. Many a Buffalonian has been waiting for news like this - another great reason to visit us here!
