Art Opening At Santa Fe's Historic El Zaguan

Friday night, September 7, saw a great art opening at El Zaguan, an historic home and small artists' residence at 545 Canyon Road.

Home to 5 artists in residence, El Zaguan hosted the opening of  John Gregory Tweed's show "Five Decades of Portrait Drawings" and the show is great.  Reception ran from 5-7 p.m. on Friday night, September 7, and was enjoyed by quite the enthuisastic gathering.  But fear not, the show hangs through Sept. 24, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. so there's still time to stop by and see these wonderful drawings.

And while you're there don't forget to visit the graceful old adobe building, owned by the Historic Santa Fe Foundation,  that houses the show  Preservation is in progress and the helpful staff would be glad to answer any of your questions.
