Satellite: Chuck Ragan, Promises Promises and Black Year
Tuesday nights haven't been the same since Full House went off the air. The Satellite Cocktail Lounge is doing something to remedy this problem, with a musical lineup that Uncle Jessie would be proud of. On Tuesday, June 26th, Chuck Ragan of Hot Water Music is bringing his acoustic solo show to the Satellite stage, with openers Black Year and Promises Promises. It's rare that I get so excited for a show that doesn't require me to overdraw my bank account. It's only $8--even cheaper than that box of wine you were thinking about chilling out with instead. People will start showing up around 8 p.m., so get there early for a good spot.
Not only is this a rare opportunity to catch Chuck Ragan, it's also the cd release for the great Promises Promises and the debut performance of the much-aniticipated musical stylings of Black Year. The box wine can wait. I'll see you there.
