Music in Reno TONIGHT!
It's Monday, the work week has begun, school is back in session, and if you're like me, you need a break already. Lucky for all of us, there's a really good band playing at a really cool bar where really neat people such as myself will be drinking really yummy drinks. Really.
Kleveland, a band from of Portland, Oregon will take the stage at the Satellite Lounge at about 8 p.m. Now, I've seen these guys (and girl) play once before in Reno, and by the end of the night, I managed to do the following:
1). Dance onstage.
2). Jazzercise-up a sweat that Jane Fonda would be proud of.
3). Lose my voice.
4). Lose my friends.
And a good time was had by all.
The female lead singer can hold her own against any rock chick in the business, and makes me want to pick up a guitar myself. (Learning to actually play it, however, might pose a problem). In this case, Kleveland definitely rocks.
