The Eldorado Casino Resort
One of the most popular downtown resorts is the Eldorado. It's a favorite for locals and visitors alike because of the high-quality restaurants, large gaming floor, excellent theater, and amenities like the spa it offers. The Eldorado's rooms are clean and comfortable, but the restaurants really shine. The casino is locally owned by the Carano family, who also own a vineyard in California, so their commitment to food and wine is legendary. The best restaurants inside the Eldorado include La Strada and Roxy, but the buffet and other restaurants are good, too.
The Bubinga nightclub is one of the most popular in town, and Roxy's martini bar is a favorite meeting place after work or apres-ski. The Eldorado is also connected to two other casinos, the Silver Legacy and Circus-Circus, so traveling between casinos is quick and easy. I recommend the Eldorado to my friends who come to visit, so check it out when you come to Reno!
