The Biggest Little City
Reno is known as "The Biggest Little City in the World," in fact, that's the motto on the long-standing arch over Virginia Street in downtown Reno. Why? Because even though Reno seems to be getting bigger every day, it's still got a small-town "homey" feel for locals and visitors alike. Reno isn't Vegas, and we don't want to be! We have smaller, less glitzy casinos, the Truckee River running right through downtown, and the Sierra Nevada right outside our back door. Reno is special, and chances are when you visit, you'll think so too!
