Lao-Thai Kitchen
1000 N Nellis Blvd, Suite I
Las Vegas, NV 89110

Okay, I have to admit that on entering this restaurant I almost left. In fact I almost drove by it... The place is small and dingy in a small and dingy strip mall near Nellis Air force base.
But the enticement of a new restaurant and a lunch buffet to try it at made me look for my courage and give it ...

FastKart Speedway, located at Sport Center right off the Strip, is the place where race car driver wannabes satisfy their need for speed-- kind of. The 25-mile-an-hour go-carts careening along the 1,150-foot track aren't exactly Ferraris, but they are painted like miniature NASCAR cars and go neck-and-neck the whole way. The track features hairpin curves and a computerized system that scores the winners, so it's an exciting ride and perfect for the family. Open ...

Las Vegas, NV 89118

This restaurant bills itself as a Cambodian, Vietnamese, Thai restaurant. Whatever it is, it is great!
The decor is minimal, you can tell this is a family run place. The TV in the middle of the room is constantly playing, though thankfully it isn't always Asian martial arts films.
The food is the reason to come here. (The service is good too!)
Lunch specials ...
