Thai Style Noodle House is an affordable Thai restaurant that doesn't make you feel like you are in a cheap restaurant. Those who like a bargain know what I mean.
First, the decor is clean, new, and modern.
Second, the staff is clean, attentive and can clearly explain each dish and make recommendations.
Third, the portions are large, the prices are very reasonable and the presentation is artistic.
The lunch specials are quite a deal! $4.95 gets you the soup of the day, an appetizer (egg roll, fried tofu, fried wonton, or pot sticker), and for the entree a choice of a Thai curry or an entree from their rice plates. I tried their Panang chicken, Pra-ram Chicken, and their Spicy Eggplant with chicken. Each of these was distinct in flavor, tempered to my heat taste and definitely filling.
They do a very good Plah Muk Tod that is flavorful and not chewy. And for dessert I have tried their fried bananas and mango and sticky rice. Crowd pleasers to be sure!
They face onto
Wynn Roadwhich makes them a little hard to find. If you are on Spring Mountain coming from the 15, make a left onto Wynn and an immediate left into the parking lot. There is no parking in front of the restaurant. The restaurant is small with only 10-12 tables. They are child friendly which is always a plus to me.
My only negative is that during one of my three visits I felt that my chicken was undercooked. I suffered no ill effects, so it could have been me but still, I mention it for those of weak constitutions.
All in all a good little restaurant in Las Vegas's Chinatown.
