Manhattan Express, Vegas' Best Roller Coaster
Voted best roller coaster of 2006 by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the Manhattan Express at the New York-New York Hotel and Casino is one thrilling ride! 4,777 feet of track soars up to 203 feet over a replica of New York Harbor, and the almost three-minute ride travels 67 miles per hour through two inversions and a heartline twist and dive, right on the Strip. The largest drop is 144 feet, after which fans usually have to pry their white knuckles from the safety bars. Admission is $12.50 per person for one ride and each passenger must be at least 54 inches tall. The roller coaster runs seven days a week but will be closed January 22 - 26, 2007.
