Happy St. Patrick's Day!
The 38thAnnual AT&T St. Patrick's Day Parade will be held today in downtown St. Louis, Missouri at 12 noon. The AT&T St. Patrick's Day Parade will travel eastbound beginning at Union Station and concludes at Broadway and Market Streets. Dan Buck, the former host of Show Me St. Louis and the new CEO of the St. Patrick Center, will be the Honorary Grand Marshal of this St. Patrick's Day event!
There will be over 100 units participating in the St. Patrick's Day Parade that will include floats, marching bands, clowns and much much more. The parade attracts over 200,000 people and there will definitely be a sea of green and everywhere!! Another main attraction will be the Run and then the United States Green Berets Parachute Team will be performing today and will land at 10th and Market Streets in the Gateway Mall.
It has been suggested by the St. Louis Saint Patrick's Day Committee that parade goers use the MetroBus or MetroLink as an alternative to parking downtown. There are many MetroLink Stations that are throughout the City of St. Louis and a list of stations can be accessed on the Metro website at http://www.metrostlouis.org/.
The St. Patrick's Day Parade in St. Louis is a family event for all ages and it has been going strong for 38 years! Come out and be a part of this grand annual event!!!
