Fuji-Ya, the Happiest Happy Hour in Lyn-Lake

What makes a happy hour happy? Discounted prices on tasty drinks and appetizers, of course. What makes a happy hour even happier? Longer, later hours on more days of the week! And what makes a late night happy hour the happiest of all in the neighborhood? Live DJs spinning smooth tunes in the background!

All this and more can be found at the fabulous Fuji-Ya in the Lyn-Lake area of South Minneapolis. Weekday discounts run from 5-7PM, with an additional evening happy hours (with live DJs) on Thursdays and Sundays from 8-10PM. Thursday also features a half-price wine bottle special.

Settle in to a warm and cozy lounge, watch the Sushi Chefs work their art as you nosh Edamame (boiled, salted soybean pods) for $2.50 an order and sip a $4.00 hot sake. If you're still hungry after all of those tasty soybeans, dive into the sushi menu and make it an early meal. Nigiri and Maki orders of between two and six pieces run from $2.95 to $3.95. Specialty rolls are also priced right, with the much beloved Caterpillar, glistening green in its avocado wrap and dainty, bean-sprout tentacles, topping the list at $6.95 per eight-piece order. The crispy-crunchy four-piece Tempura and Spider rolls are each just $5.95 per order, and guaranteed to fill you up faster than you anticipate. Go slowly, and be happy!
