Find Sophisticated Films at Minneapolis' Lagoon Cinema
For sophisticated cinema, there is no better twin cities local than the Lagoon Cinema. Located at 1320 Lagoon Ave in Uptown, the Lagoon is known for showing foreign and indie films that can’t be seen at the google-plex theaters. Refreshments are also a cut above average. Their gigantic chocolate dipped cookies are my personal favorite. Five screens ensure a variety of films to choose from—check movies and show times at the Lagoon’s website General admission is $8.75. Parking, which is usually a bit tricky in the Uptown area is made easy by the lot next door—be sure to bring in your parking ticket and get it validated. Metered parking is also available on nearby streets for those who don’t mind a bit of a stroll.
