Things to Do This Weekend in Muskegon
For Adults -
- Last weekend to see "The Star Spangled Girl" at the Double JJ Dinner Theater in Rothbury. Tickets are $32.95 per person. Dinner begins at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. This show is not appropriate for children.
- Mardi Gras Muskegon - The Muskegon Woman's Club is hosting a Mardi Gras party at their headquarters on Webster Avenue in downtown Muskegon. A buffet featuring good ole' cajun/New Orleans food, masks and beads, Bourbon street entertainment, and a silent auction will be just some of the fun at this party. - Central Park Players' in Grand Haven present "Cabaret", a play by John Van Druten. The play is not appropriate for children as the theater will be turned into a seedy nightclub environment. Performances begin Friday evening and run through Sunday night. Call 616-971-1329 for more information.

- Kids ice fishing contest Sat., 2/17, on White Lake. Call 231-894-3335 for more information. (Event coincides with Michigan's free fishing weekend).
- Come see the United Hockey League Champion Muskegon Fury take on the Elmira Jackals on Friday and Saturday nights at the L.C. Walker Arena in downtown Muskegon. The games begin at 7:30 p.m.
- Muskegon Community College Players present "Our Town" at Overbrook Theater on Friday and Saturday evenings (beginning at 7:30 p.m.) or on Sunday (beginning at 3 p.m.). Tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and students.
